Do you have aspiration to perform? Here’s your chance
En Motion will be conducting an audition for our 3 prestigious dance crews – SALSA crew, BACHATA crew and our G.E.M Bachata Ladies
Eligibility:
Minimally current Level 3 students of the respective dance genre (or equivalent level from other studios)
The best thing is, you do not need to attend any physical audition as we will be doing a video audition.
You can use any videos from your classes (group or solo) or you can create a new video.
Video Criteria
– Video should show your full body with a clear view of your dancing
– Min 40 sec
– Bachata partner dance for Bachata Audition
– Salsa partner dance for Salsa Audition
– Bachata solo for GEM audition
(Your dance partner is not require to join the audition and you will be assess individually)
– For dancers who showed higher potential, you might be invited to join the Advance Crew training
– DEADLINE for submission by 31st May 2022
You may submit for more than 1 audition.
Dancers who are selected for the crew will have the chance to receive higher level training by our Director and Senior Instructors for a 10 weeks intensive high quality training on the following aspects
– Technique Training in movements, turns, partnering
– Lifts and tricks (for partner dance)
– Learning how to do simple choreography
– Social Dance
– Mini showcase for intro of upcoming performance in Jan 2023
