Tropical Gem Dance Company, one of the world’s highly acclaimed Salsa latin dance crew, is multiple times World Salsa Team Champion. They are widely believed to have the largest fan base in the Salsa scene.
Tropical Gem is headed by Mr Fernando Sosa, a famous Latin Dance movie artiste, currently the most sought after Salsa instructor globally. Mr Fernando Sosa would like to share his dance visions worldwide and has handpicked En Motion Dance School to be the exclusive training school in Singapore to represent Tropical Gem Dance Company.
It is an honour for Mr Gary Foo, Director of En Motion Dance School, to receive his direct invitation for this collaboration. En Motion, together with all the like-minded dancers in Singapore, will strive to carry on the high standards set by the prestigious Tropical Gem Dance Company, forming the Tropical Gem World Crew.

The Tropical Gem World Crew will be trained by appointed trainers, Mr Gary Foo and Ms Angela Bok, En Motion’s top female lead dancer. The crew will undergo 14 weeks of training, including the rare opportunity to be trained by Ms Tatiana Bonaguro & a male lead dancer from Tropical Gem Dance company on the 14th week. The Tropical Gem World Crew will be having their debut at one of Asia’s largest street latin event – Singapore International Latin Festival 2019.
For dancers who are interested to be recruited into Tropical Gem World Crew, these are the information for the audition:
Date: 23rd Sep (Sunday)
Time: 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Fees: $50 per pax / $90 per couple (refundable/rebatable)
Appointed Tropical Gem Trainers: Mr Gary Foo and Ms Angela Bok
Details of Audition procedure:
2.30pm – 3.00pm: En Motion trainers will be teaching a set of Tropical Gem Routine which includes Shines and Partnerwork
3.00pm – 3.30pm: Participants will be given 30min to practice
3.30pm – 4.30pm: Participants will showcase the routine in groups of 2 couples.
Audition results will be released on 30th September 2018.
For participants who has successfully got through the audition, the paid fees will be used to rebate off the World Crew training fees.
For participants who did not get through the audition, the paid fees will be fully refunded.
