What is a Jack & Jill Competition?
Jack & Jill Competitions are designed to showcase a dancer’s skills in spontaneous social dancing and improvisation, as well as to highlight their ability to dance well with a variety of partners. Leaders and followers enter the competition individually and are randomly matched to dance to music pre-selected by the DJs.
Preliminaries – Each dancer will be judged individually as a leader/follower (2 songs will be played with partner switching)
Finals – Dancers will be judged and scored as a couple (2 songs will be played with fixed partner)

Asia Bachata 1 VS 1 Battle Championship
ASIA BACHATA 1 VS 1 Battle
LIMITED TO max 8 males and 8 females only
What is a 1 VS 1 Battle?
This is a fun competition to test on individual dancers technique skills in reaction to different Bachata songs.
Dancers will draw lots to face off each other. Each dancer will have 30 seconds time to present themself and then switch over to the opposition dancer. Each round will have 2 switching thus each dancer will dance 2 sets of 30 seconds.
Music will be decided by the DJ with some of the most popular hits

FAQ
1) What are the music mix?
Fri, Sat & Sun – 10pm – 3am PURE BACHATA music
(Depending on crowd, DJ might throw in 1 or 2 music from other genres like Salsa, Kizomba for a break)
We are a big Latin family afterall and all the artistes coming to Corazon are very good Salsa dancers too.
2) Can I get tickets at the door?
Yes you can, but it might cost a little more. All online sales will end on 13th March Wednesday. Get your tickets on eventbrite now
3) What is the schedule?

4) For full pass holder, do i need to register for the workshops?
Other than Pre-party workshops and Master class, you can walk in to any workshops duing the festival
5) Last important point – Please make sure you have your QR CODE from EVENTBRITE ready for exchange or a wrist tag or a wrist chops. Do not lose your wrist tag or you will need to re-purchase a new one at prevailing door rate.
